We are looking for 40 coaches to each support and deliver 2 or 3 coaching sessions for young women.
What is EMPOWER:
EMPOWER by The Amber Foundation isn’t just a program; it’s an investment into the future of the many young ethnic minority women who have been born and raised in Hong Kong.
Through a series of workshops, we aim to help them carve a place into society by developing a professional network, cultivating professional and personal skills, exposure to career opportunities and instilling confidence.
In order to maintain and increase the outcome of our mission, we hold regular surveys among active and past cohort members, to gain insights in their professional development and personal well-being.
We continue to gage their needs and expose them to a large variety of career opportunities, some of which have been uniquely designed for the EMPOWER community. EMPOWER is a testament to the Amber Foundation’s commitment to shaping resilient, empowered women, ready to conquer the professional world.
EMPOWER is a coaching and mentorship programme, established in 2018, dedicated to enhancing the visibility and career success of ethnically diverse university women in Hong Kong. The initiative has already supported 7 cohorts—161 participants—with 32 workshops and over 190 senior professionals serving as Group Leaders Their focus on overcoming racial barriers, building professional networks, and preparing students for internships aligns powerfully with our coaching expertise.
