Newsletter – April 2023

Register to join Face-to-face Member Connection on April 26

Exciting news for ICF Hong Kong members! We are thrilled to announce our upcoming face-to-face Member Connection Sessions – a series of meetings designed to connect our community of coaches and foster mutual support and interaction.

Join us for our first in-person session on April 26, Wednesday, from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the stunning Café 8, Rooftop Hong Kong Maritime Museum Pier 8 in Central. Meet and network with fellow ICFHK members, and get to know each other.

During the discussion portion, we invite you to share your own coaching journey – where you started, where you are now, and what your next milestones are. We will also explore how ICF HK and your fellow coaches can support you on your journey.

Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals and expand your coaching network. Please note that coaches will be responsible for purchasing their own food and beverages. To facilitate a meaningful conversation, seating is limited, and we encourage you to sign up early to secure your spot.

Mark the dates for 2023 CCE events

We are pleased to announce the launch of a new series of CCE events for the Hong Kong Chapter, focused on each core competency. The first three events have been successful, and we thank everyone for their attendance.

The rest of the core competencies have been endorsed and approved by ICF Global under the same banner of ‘Practice makes Perfect.’ Please block your calendars for the following dates:

  • Core Competency 4: May 24
  • Core Competency 5: July 19
  • Core Competency 6: September 27
  • Core Competency 7&8: November 29

The events will take place via Zoom from 6:30-8:00 p.m. HKT and are limited to 24 attendees on a first-come, first-served basis. They are free of charge for ICF members and attending will grant you 1.5 CCE for Core Competencies.

We look forward to welcoming you to this interactive and educational series of events. Please stay tuned for the registration link in the monthly ICFHK newsletter.

March highlights

On March 22, a group of professional and passionate coaches came together to practise ICF core competency 3: establishes and maintains agreements through the lens of a practitioner and the application when we coached our counterparts. Practice makes perfect. We all learned something new at the session.

We felt connected with the same passion for coaching and contributing back to the community. We are excited about the upcoming networking opportunities, professional development sessions, and social impact volunteering work.
