Newsletter – February 2025

Dear ICF Hong Kong members and friends,

As we embrace the Year of the Snake, we are inspired by the themes of transformation, wisdom and resilience. This time of renewal is an opportunity to reflect on our personal and professional journeys, setting the stage for growth and new achievements.

It has been a pleasure to serve as your Director of Marketing and Communications for the past year, and I am looking forward to serving on the board in another role as we prepare for the 15 year celebrations.

I will be handing over the responsibility to Cheryl Lee, who will continue to bring fresh perspectives and dedication to our community.

Thank you for being part of our community. We wish you prosperity, health and success in all your endeavours.

Warm regards,
Lisa Sha

Performance Evaluation for Coaching Certification

If you’re preparing for your ACC application, you’ll need to upload an audio recording and a written transcript of an actual coaching session.

Here are some key points to keep in mind:

Session type: The performance evaluation must be from a real coaching session with a paid or pro bono client. This session should not be part of your coaching education.

Client eligibility: Your client may not be a coach unless they are a regular client. A regular client is someone who seeks coaching from you regularly and not for any other reason.

Session authenticity: While you can prepare questions, notes and structure, the session should be natural and the dialogue between coach and coachee can not be scripted.
