Newsletter – July 2024

Dear ICF HK Members Community,

Here we are: already midway through the year. It is astonishing how quickly time flies when you’re having fun! As I reflect on our journey together, I feel immense pride for the numerous milestones our chapter has achieved together.

All of this success would not be possible without the strength of our vibrant member community. Rumi, the 13th-century Sufi poet, once said, “Be with those who help your being.” To me, this sentiment is epitomized by the ICF HK board. Being surrounded by individuals that endlessly support one’s growth is crucial, and this community has provided a supportive and nurturing environment akin to the mentoring and development I deeply value.

This support encouraged me to join the board as the Marketing Communications Director. In my role, I am particularly proud of launching advertising options in our newsletters. This initiative has enhanced our outreach and increased community engagement, allowing us to share more resources, insights, and opportunities with our members. It has been gratifying to not only see the positive impact this has had on our communication and the value it has brought to our members but how the spirit of camaraderie and commitment to our shared vision bolsters this work. It has been a privilege to serve this community, and I am confident that ICF HK will continue to thrive and reach new heights under the guidance of our exceptional board and dedicated members.

Now, the time has come for me to bid you all a fond farewell as I embark on a new adventure. After 22 wonderful years, I will be relocating from my Hong Kong home. The experiences and relationships I have built here are irreplaceable, and I will carry the memories and lessons learned with me as I move forward.

While I may be moving on to a new chapter in my life, I will always remain connected to this wonderful community. I look forward to hearing about your future successes and staying in touch.

With heartfelt gratitude and best wishes,
Rini Adhikari
Marketing Communications, ICF HK Board
