Newsletter – Ocobter 2025

As the project lead for our 15th Anniversary Conference “Coaching & Beyond”, I’m still riding the wave of energy and gratitude from what was truly a landmark event. With a sold-out crowd and 150 passionate members of our community gathered under one roof, the response was nothing short of overwhelming- in the very best way.

Bringing this celebration to life was a labour of love, and seeing it culminate in such a vibrant, connected, and inspiring gathering was incredibly rewarding. Thank you for showing up, sharing your voices, and for making this anniversary one to remember!

As part of our ongoing 15th anniversary celebrations, we’re delighted to announce that all remaining CCE webinars for the year will be offered to our members free of charge. It’s our way of saying thank you– and continuing to grow together as a community.

Learn about the Origins framework to transform your coaching practice by enabling deeper, more sustainable client shifts, and position them uniquely in the marketplace.

Drawing on the first evidence-based model for working with the past in coaching this session explores how to work with personal history in the context of coaching.

Kick-off for our largest pro-bono initiative to-date: EMPOWER

We kicked off our partnership with EMPOWER by the Amber Foundation on 15 October.

40 of you- our community, our ICF HK coaches, volunteered to provide coaching to 40 university-aged ethnic minority women. Thank you for giving the gift of coaching to help them with their transition into their career journeys!

Meet & Greet with Regional ICF Representatives

Thank you to all our members who joined us for the recent Meet & Greet with Haitham Shaheen, ICF Regional Director for APAC and MENA, and Minji Oh, ICF Regional Manager for APAC. It was a pleasure to welcome them to Hong Kong and to host an engaging in-person conversation about the future of our coaching community.

The session offered a valuable opportunity to hear directly from ICF global representatives, explore shared aspirations, and reflect on the evolving needs of our members.

Haitham and Minji’s insights sparked thoughtful dialogue, and it was wonderful to reconnect with familiar faces and welcome new ones- sharing ideas, experiences, and a good cup of coffee.

Wrap of Phase 5 with the Red Cross

We’re proud to share that Phase 5 of the ICF Hong Kong Social Impact Coaching Collaboration with the Hong Kong Red Cross has officially wrapped- marking the conclusion of our longest-running NGO partnership to date.

Spanning from April 2022 to August 2025, this initiative has grown into a meaningful and impactful programme:

  • 66 coachees supported
  • Over 370 coaching hours delivered
  • 53+ qualified ICF coaches registered to support
  • 15 coaches participated in more than one phase

A special acknowledgement goes to Rowena Yiu, PCC, CPQC, and Elaine Tong (our dedicated Lead Coach), for their contributions across all five phases.

This collaboration has been a powerful demonstration of coaching’s ability to uplift individuals, strengthen organisations, and foster community resilience. We extend our heartfelt thanks to every coach, coachee, and partner who made this journey possible- and to the Hong Kong Red Cross for being such a committed and inspiring ally in this work.

15 Year Anniversary Conference

It was wonderful to gather at our largest in-person ICF HK event in recent years, a full-day event focused on the future of coaching and its evolving role across industries and communities.

With over 150 coaches, executives, and changemakers in attendance, the programme featured 18 speakers across keynotes, panel discussions, and breakout labs covering topics such as AI, neuroscience, and team dynamics. The day offered space for thoughtful dialogue, practical insights, and meaningful connection.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to a day of reflection, learning, and forward thinking.
