The year 2023 has been an incredible journey of progress and growth for ICF Hong Kong. The dedication and commitment of our board members and volunteers have been pivotal in achieving numerous milestones and fostering invaluable connections within the coaching community.

Professional Development Sessions:
We successfully conducted five Coaching Professional Development sessions, delving into ICF Core Competencies 3 to 8. Additionally, our three engaging Happy Hour sessions covered diverse topics such as relational mindfulness coaching, Ontological coaching, leadership, and the exploration of one’s full potential through playful methods.
Member Connections and Learning:
Our efforts to facilitate member connections yielded fruitfulness with four sessions conducted in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, both virtually and in-person. The MCC Masterclasses led by Dr. Paul Jeong, Janna Song, and Lillian Lin, alongside the two insightful Team coaching sessions by Ernie Turner, enriched our community profoundly.
Partnerships and Social Impact:
We forged impactful partnerships with several NGOs, providing over 100 coaching opportunities to support those in need and contribute significantly to meaningful social impacts. Collaborations with organizations such as HK Momtrepreneurs, Foundation for Shared Impact FSI Mentoring Program, Fair Employment Agency, PathFinders, Hong Kong 融幼社, Inspiring Hong Kong Sports Foundation (IHKSF), and Hong Kong Red Cross Phase-3 have been deeply fulfilling.
Thought Leadership and Innovation:
Our thought-leadership session on AI and Coaching attracted exceptional interest with over 100 participants enrolled, emphasizing our commitment to staying at the forefront of innovation within the coaching sphere.
Partnership with Women Entrepreneurs Network:
In a historic collaboration, we partnered with WEN – Women Entrepreneur Network to empower women entrepreneurs, marking a significant stride in supporting and uplifting women in business. This initiative also represents our first of many-to-come paid coaching opportunities for our members.
Recognitions and Membership Growth:
We proudly participated in the ICF Ignite donation initiative and were honored with the “Top Contributing ICF Chapter” award. Moreover, our chapter’s growth has been exceptional, boasting 2 MCC, 53 PCC, and 65 ACC members, showcasing the dedication and professionalism of our coaching community.
Enhanced Communication and Digital Experience:
We revamped our website to provide a more seamless and enriching digital experience for our members. Additionally, we expanded our communication channels by introducing WhatsApp, WeChat groups, and Instagram, complementing our existing monthly newsletter and regular LinkedIn posts.
Cross-Association Celebrations:
To conclude the year on a high note, we collaborated with five other coaching associations in Hong Kong to host a “Jingle & Mingle” Christmas party, a resounding success. It provided an excellent opportunity for coaches to come together, share experiences, and celebrate the holiday spirit.
