The ICF Hong Kong Charter Chapter Board is always looking for volunteers to join working groups and programmes that help us do more for our coaching community. These include:

  • Event Organisation
  • Member communications & social media
  • Corporate partnerships
  • Community engagement programmes
  • Thought leadership & training

I am passionate about a topic and I am willing to lead a community of practice (COP) on this. Leading means “organize from scratch the events: look for speakers, planification,  “facilitate” the webinars.  You’ll work together with Murielle GARDRET, board director at ICF HK Chapter leading Thought Leadership, which includes Communities of Practice (COP) and Thought Leadership.

“Actively contribute” means to be active in one or more activities you select among the below ones.

I am ready to be committed to the following activities until the end of 2024:

  • Virtual assistant (manage chats, breakout rooms, and more during the webinars…)
  • Planification  (with the leader (s) and communication ): anticipate events, regular follow-up, launch reminders, plan sending-out of feedback, etc.. 
  • Organisation -- Venues (with the leader): look for venues when needed, check size of the venue and easy access for everyone (disabled…), check availability,check the equipment needed and if it works well, check deadlines for potential orders such as food, contact the right people contact of those places, make the agreed arrangements in line with the budget, etc.. )
  • Organisation -- Speakers: contact the speakers for availability and more (dates, program, bio, get their ppt in advance, forward the ppt to the appropriate people,  plan another speaker/plan B in case of absence of speaker, look for gifts if needed).
  • Communication with the Board:  social media, contact with the printing  if needed, get all 
  • Co-facilitator
  • (Co)-Leader of 1 COP
  • CCEUs
  • Select the speakers for next year

Note: Volunteers will be included in our review meeting when the event is completed. So, we can list what worked well and what did not as a way to continuous improvement and share best practices with future volunteers at ICFHK.
